AT&T repays remaining $2.63 billion tranche A loans, cancels facility

Morgantown, W.Va., Feb. 20 – AT&T Inc. repaid the remaining $2,625,000,000 of tranche A advances under its term loan credit agreement dated Nov. 15, 2016 on Wednesday, according to an 8-K filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

Following the repayment, the term loan was terminated in its entirety.

The term loan originally totaled $10 billion and was increased in February 2018 to $16,175,000,000, consisting of $8,087,500,000 tranche A advances and $8,087,500,000 of tranche B advances.

On Sept. 20, AT&T repaid $10 billion of the term loan, including $5 billion of the outstanding tranche A advances and $5 billion of the outstanding tranche B advances.

On Nov. 20, AT&T repaid an additional $3.55 billion, including $462.5 million of the tranche A advances and the remaining $3,087,500,000 billion of tranche B advances.

AT&T is a Dallas-based telecommunications company.
