Greenhill adds Carlo Bosco as restructuring principal in London

By Tali Rackner

Norfolk, Va., July 7 – Greenhill & Co., Inc. announced that Carlo Bosco has joined the firm as a principal in the restructuring group in London, according to a press release.

He will work closely with Gareth Davies, who is responsible for the European restructuring group.

Bosco has more than eight years of restructuring experience, most recently as a director at Lazard in New York. During his career at Lazard he worked in the United States and Europe on more than 20 closed restructuring and distressed M&A transactions across a wide variety of sectors including financial institutions, energy, real estate, retail, technology and media.

"We are pleased to strengthen our team with the experience, the relationships and energy that Carlo brings,” co-heads of European corporate advisory Luca Ferrari and David Wyles said in the release.

“Our success in restructuring has been significant in Europe in the last few years, particularly in the United Kingdom, with landmark transactions including Hibu (formerly Yell) and the Co-Operative Bank, and we are pleased to be able to expand our team with a key hire that will allow us to grow the practice further in continental Europe."

Greenhill is a New York-based independent investment bank.
