Constellium to redeem 7 7/8% notes due 2021, 7% and 8% notes due 2023

By Wendy Van Sickle

Columbus, Ohio, Nov. 3 – Constellium NV issued a conditional notice to redeem its 7 7/8% senior secured notes due 2021, 7% senior notes due 2023 and 8% senior unsecured notes due 2023.

The company plans to redeem the notes on Nov. 30 at par plus accrued interest plus any applicable premium due.

The redemptions are conditioned on receipt of sufficient proceeds from Constellium’s offering of senior unsecured notes and 22 million class A ordinary shares. The company priced $500 million of senior notes and €400 million of senior notes, both due in February 2026, on Thursday.

Amsterdam-based Constellium makes value-added aluminum products.
