StanCorp Financial calls $252.9 million of subordinated notes at par

Chicago, Sept. 28 – StanCorp Financial Group, Inc. said it will redeem its $252.9 million of outstanding fixed-to-floating rate income capital obligation notes, or ICONs, due June 1, 2067.

The ICONs will be redeemed at par on Dec. 1, according to a company notice.

The issuer said it will also pay accrued interest of about $2.4 million.

StanCorp is a Portland, Ore.-based holding company for insurance and asset management subsidiaries.
