Spectra Energy to repay term loan borrowings via new note offering

Minneapolis, June 7 – Spectra Energy Partners, LP plans to repay a portion of its term loan credit facility borrowings using the net proceeds from a new $400 million floating-rate senior note offering, according to an 8-K filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

Proceeds will also be used for general partnership purposes.

The Hamilton, Bermuda, company is an owner and operator of floating storage and regasification units and liquefied natural gas carriers.
