Ensco repurchases $39.2 million of three note series for $42.1 million

Columbus, Ohio, April 27 – Ensco plc repurchased $39.2 million of three series of notes for $42.1 million cash in open market repurchases in March and April, according to the company’s 10-Q filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission for the quarter ended March 31.
Specifically, in March the company repurchased $4.4 million of its 4.7% senior notes due 2021 for $4.2 million, and in April it repurchased $34.8 million of its 8.5% senior notes due 2019, 6.88% senior notes due 2020 and 4.7% senior notes due 2021 for $37.9 million of cash.
Ensco is a London-based oil and gas services company.
