AmSurg repays $1.22 billion loans, terminates credit agreement

Morgantown, W.Va., Dec. 7 – AmSurg Corp. terminated all outstanding commitments and repaid all outstanding loans under its credit agreement dated July 16, 2014 with Citibank, NA as administrative agent, according to an 8-K filed Wednesday with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

As of Dec. 1, immediately prior to the repayment and termination, the total principal amount of the loans outstanding under the credit agreement was $1.22 billion.

Outstanding letters of credit were cash collateralized.

The credit agreement was terminated in connection with Envision Healthcare Holdings, Inc.’s acquisition of AmSurg, which was completed on Dec. 1.

AmSurg is a Nashville operator of ambulatory surgery centers.
