Los Angeles County MTA defeases 2006-A proposition C sales tax bonds

Norfolk, Va., June 24 – The Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transportation Authority defeased its series 2006-A proposition C sales tax revenue refunding second senior bonds, according to a notice.
The following will be redeemed at par on July 1:
• $5,415,000 of bonds due July 1, 2016;
• $5,685,000 of bonds due July 1, 2017;
• $5,915,000 of bonds due July 1, 2018;
• $6.15 million of bonds due July 1, 2019;
• $6,405,000 of bonds due July 1, 2020;
• $6,725,000 of bonds due July 1, 2021;
• $7.06 million of bonds due July 1, 2022;
• $7.38 million of bonds due July 1, 2023;
• $7,745,000 of bonds due July 1, 2024;
• $8.08 million of bonds due July 1, 2025;
• $8,445,000 of bonds due July 1, 2026;
• $8.82 million of bonds due July 1, 2027;
• $9.22 million of bonds due July 1, 2028;
• $9.63 million of bonds due July 1, 2029; and
• $10,065,000 of bonds due July 1, 2030.
