MD America Energy repays $425 million second-lien term loan in full

Tacoma, Wash., June 20 – MD America Energy, LLC executed an offer letter with its lenders to retire 100% of its $425 million second-lien term loan, according to a company news release.

The company said it received 100% participation in the tender offer from its lender group.

Parent company Meidu Energy Corp. provided the funds needed to pay off the loan.

MD America Energy plans to finance its future growth through cash flow, equity and debt, chief financial officer Michael Tapp said in the news release.

MD America Energy is a Fort Worth, Texas-based oil and gas operating company. Meidu Energy is listed company on the Shanghai Stock Exchange.
