AT&T prepays $5 billion of tranche A, tranche B term loans

Morgantown, W.Va., June 2 – AT&T Inc. made a $5 billion optional prepayment of advances outstanding under its $9,155,000,000 term loan credit agreement dated Jan. 21, 2015 with Mizuho Bank, Ltd., according to an 8-K filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The syndicated term loan contains a $6,286,000,000 tranche A term loan and a $2,869,000,000 tranche B term loan.

The prepayment made on Thursday was $4 billion to the tranche A facility and $1 billion to the tranche B facility.

AT&T is a Dallas-based telecommunications company.
