Prestige Brands to draw from credit facilities for DenTek acquisition

Columbus, Ohio, Nov. 23 – Prestige Brands Holdings, Inc. will borrow under its existing credit facilities to fund part of its acquisition of DenTek Oral Care, Inc., according to a Monday press release.

Prestige will also use available cash for its $225 million purchase of the Maryville, Tenn.-based marketer and distributor of oral care products.

The transaction is expected to close during the first half of calendar year 2016.

Prestige Brands is a Tarrytown, N.Y.-based marketer and distributor of over-the-counter and household cleaning products.
