ReneSola buys back $36 million of convertible notes due 2018 in Q3

Chicago, Oct. 1 – ReneSola Ltd. said it repurchased $36 million notional amount of its convertible notes due on March 15, 2018 during the third quarter of 2015.

The convertibles have a put option on March 15, 2016.

After the buyback, there are about $26.1 million of the convertibles left outstanding.

The company may continue to repurchase the convertibles from time to time, subject to market conditions and other strategic considerations, according to a company press release.

ReneSola is a manufacturer of solar products based in Jiashan, China.
