Cable & Wireless to repay term loan borrowings with notes proceeds

New York, July 22 – Cable & Wireless Communications plc plans to refinance its term loans using proceeds from a $750 million senior notes offering, according to a market source.

Remaining proceeds from the notes will be used for general corporate purposes.

Cable & Wireless is a London-based telecommunications company.
