NewStar Financial to repay credit facility using funds from new notes

Madison, Wis., April 14 – NewStar Financial, Inc. plans to repay in full its corporate credit facility using proceeds from an offering of senior notes, according to a press release.

Remaining proceeds from the $300 million notes offering will be used for general corporate purposes.

Fortress Credit Corp. is the agent for the facility.

The finance company is based in Boston.
