Drew Industries draws under $75 million credit line for acquisition

Chicago, Aug. 18 – Drew Industries Inc. drew on its $75 million line of credit to pay the $18 million purchase price for the acquisition of assets.

The company’s wholly owned subsidiary Lippert Components, Inc. acquired assets and the business of Duncan Systems, Inc., according to a company press release.

The purchase price was $18 million plus contingent payment based on future sales.

Duncan is an Elkhart, Ind.-based distributor of replacement motor home windshields; RV, heavy truck and specialty vehicle glass and windows; and awnings – primarily to fulfill insurance claims.

Drew Industries is an Elkhart, Ind.-based supplier of recreational vehicle and manufactured home components.
