Green Field Energy seven-member unsecured creditors committee named

Pittsburgh, Nov. 7 - Green Field Energy Services, Inc.'s official committee of unsecured creditors was appointed Thursday by Region 3 U.S. Trustee Roberta A. DeAngelis, according to a filing with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware.

The committee members are Ben D. Davis, representing ChemRock Technologies; Darin Day of National Oilwell Varco LP of Houston; Scott McPherson of Martin Energy Services of Houston; Jim Broyles of Pel-State Bulk Plan of Shreveport, La.; William H. Means Jr. of Preferred Quality Chemicals, LLC of Shreveport, La.; Mike Balitsaris of Preferred Resin Holding Co., LLC of Radnor, Pa.; and Jason Zeller of S.P.M. Flow Control, Inc. of Fort Worth.

Green Field is a Lafayette, La.-based energy services company that operates in the well services and hydraulic fracturing services lines. The company filed for bankruptcy on Oct. 27 under Chapter 11 case number 13-12783.
