Midday Commentary: Agilent notes firm, market pace slows ahead of FOMC announcement

Virginia Beach, Va., June 19 - Agilent Technologies, Inc.'s recent notes traded slightly better early Wednesday ahead of the announcements regarding the Federal Reserve's Federal Open Market Committee meeting, a market source said.

"I'm not expecting much to happen today," the source said.

Agilent Technologies' $600 million of 3.875% 10-year senior notes were quoted 1 basis point better early during the session at 178 bps bid, 175 bps offered.

The notes were sold at a spread of Treasuries plus 175 bps on Tuesday.

The bioanalytic and electronic measurement technology company is based in Santa Clara, Calif.
