Massachusetts Water Pollution Abatement calls $36.46 million of bonds

Minneapolis, Dec. 13 - The Massachusetts Water Pollution Abatement Trust will redeem $36.46 million of its 1998 series A water pollution abatement subordinate revenue refunding bonds issued for the New Bedford Program, according to a notice.
The following will be redeemed at par plus accrued interest on Jan. 13:
• $3.48 million of 4.75% bonds due Feb. 1, 2017;
• $3,525,000 of 4.75% bonds due Feb. 1, 2018;
• $3,565,000 of 4.75% bonds due Feb. 1, 2019;
• $7,225,000 of 4.75% bonds due Feb. 1, 2021; and
• $18,665,000 of 4.75% bonds due Feb. 1, 2026.
U.S. Bank NA is the bond trustee.
The Boston-based trust is responsible for improving the water quality in Massachusetts by providing capital financing to cities, towns and other eligible entities.
