Municipal Energy, Neb., defeases $60.14 million of power supply bonds

Minneapolis, April 26 - The Municipal Energy Agency of Nebraska defeased $60.14 million of its 2003 series A power supply system revenue bonds, according to a redemption notice.
The following bonds will be redeemed at par plus accrued interest on April 1, 2013:
• $1,545,000 of bonds due April 1, 2017;
• $2,685,000 of bonds due April 1, 2018;
• $2.82 million of bonds due April 1, 2019;
• $2,975,000 of bonds due April 1, 2020;
• $3.13 million of bonds due April 1, 2021;
• $3,295,000 of bonds due April 1, 2022;
• $3.47 million of bonds due April 1, 2023;
• $7.47 million of bonds due April 1, 2025;
• $12,685,000 of bonds due April 1, 2028; and
• $20,065,000 of bonds due April 1, 2033. Following the transaction, $2.83 million of these notes will remain outstanding.
