By Marisa Wong

Madison, Wis., Sept. 29 - State of Florida State Board of Education gave notice that it has refunded its series 2002C and 2003A lottery revenue bonds. The issuer noted, however, that the liens of the refunded bonds on the pledged revenues have not been defeased.

The affected 2002C bonds are due on Jan. 1 in the years 2014 through 2022, and the affected 2003A bonds are due on July 1 in the years 2014 through 2023.

The refunded 2002C bonds will be redeemed on Jan. 1, 2013, and the refunded 2003A bonds will be redeemed on July 1, 2013. Both series of bonds will be redeemed at 101 plus accrued interest.
