DBRS rates Greater Toronto Airports Authority bonds A

DBRS Inc. said it assigned an A rating with a stable trend to the C$600 million medium-term notes due 2041 issued by Greater Toronto Airports Authority.

Proceeds will be used to redeem the C$325 million medium-term notes, series 2008-2, recently called by the authority, to fund some accelerated capital initiatives planned for 2011 and for general corporate purposes.
