Kazakhstan's Kazkommerts repurchases some of two series of bonds

Knoxville, Tenn., Sept. 2 - Kazkommerts International BV said it bought back $2.1 million of its $272.33 million in bonds (ISIN: XS0234488236) due Nov. 3, 2011 and €23.87 million of its bonds due Feb. 13, 2017 (ISIN: XS0286431100) on Aug. 27.

After the repurchase, $270.23 million of the first series of bonds and €392.84 million of the second series remain outstanding.

Kazkommerts International is a subsidiary of Kazkommertsbank, an Almaty, Kazakhstan-based bank.
