Fannie Mae calls medium-term notes totaling $7.57 billion at par

Milwaukee, Dec. 11 - Fannie Mae announced that it will redeem a total of more than $7.568 billion of medium-term notes.

Fannie Mae said in a news release that the redemption price will be the principal amount plus accrued interest up to the redemption date.

Affected are the following securities:

• $15 million of 4.57% notes due Dec. 21, 2012, to be redeemed Dec. 21;

• $852.925 million of 5.25% notes due Dec. 21, 2017, to be redeemed Dec. 21;

• $40 million of 5% notes due June 21, 2024, to be redeemed Dec. 21;

• $100 million of 6% notes due March 21, 2025, to be redeemed Dec. 21;

• $50 million of 6.11% notes due Dec. 21, 2029, to be redeemed Dec. 21;

• $50 million of 6.11% notes due Dec. 21, 2029, to be redeemed Dec. 21;

• $10 million of 4.6% notes due Nov. 22, 2017, to be redeemed Dec. 22;

• $2.1 billion of 2.68% notes due Dec. 23, 2011, to be redeemed Dec. 23;

• $2.1 billion of 3.32% notes due Dec. 23, 2013, to be redeemed Dec. 23;

• $150 million of 3.5% notes due June 23, 2014, to be redeemed Dec. 23; and

• $2.1 billion of 3.73% notes due Dec. 23, 2015, to be redeemed Dec. 23.
