Southern California Power to defease all Canyon project 2008A notes

Milwaukee, Nov. 19 - The Southern California Public Power Authority gave notice that it will defease all its $104 million of Canyon Power Project revenue notes, 2008 series A, on Dec. 2.

The authority issued $170.435 million of Canyon Power Project revenue notes, 2009 series A, on Nov. 18. A portion of the proceeds from the new issuance were deposited into an escrow fund to be used to defease the 2008 series A notes.
