Fannie Mae calls medium-term notes totaling $665 million at par

Milwaukee, Oct. 23 - Fannie Mae announced that it will redeem a total of $665 million of medium-term notes.

Fannie Mae said in a news release that the redemption price will be the principal amount plus accrued interest up to the redemption date.

Affected are the following securities:

• $500 million of 5.125% notes due 2012, to be redeemed on Nov. 2;

• $100 million of 5.4% notes due 2017, to be redeemed on Nov. 2;

• $40 million of 2.08% notes due 2012, to be redeemed on Nov. 4; and

• $25 million of 2% notes due 2014, to be redeemed on Nov. 4.
