A&P $225 million 10-year notes talked at 9-9¼%

St. Louis, Mo., Dec. 13 - The Great Atlantic & Pacific Tea Co., Inc.'s $225 million of seniot notes due 2011 (B2/BB) are talked at a yield of 9-9¼%, according to guidance that emerged Thursday.

The off-the-shelf notes are scheduled to price Friday, according to market sources.

Bookrunner is Lehman Brothers with joint lead Goldman Sachs & Co. and co-managers Morgan Stanley and Scotia Capital.
