EM-focused Gran Tierra Energy plans to offer senior notes due 2027

Olympia, Wash., May 9 – Gran Tierra Energy Inc. announced Thursday that it intends to offer senior notes due 2027.

Credit Suisse and BofA are the lead bookrunners.

Proceeds from the Rule 144A and Regulation S notes will be used to repay revolving credit facility borrowings, capex and general corporate purposes, according to a press release.

The offering is subject to market and other conditions, the company said.

Calgary, Alta.-based Gran Tierra has a focus on oil and gas development in Colombia.
