S&P: Grande Communications loans B+

Standard & Poor's said it assigned its B+ corporate credit rating to Grande Communications Networks LLC.

At the same time, S&P assigned a B+ issue-level rating to the company's secured credit facilities with a 4 recovery rating.

"The rating reflects our assessment of the company's 'weak' business position, given its below-industry average video and broadband penetration as a third player in markets served by Time Warner Cable and AT&T," S&P credit analyst Catherine Cosentino said in a news release.
