GrafTech borrows $165 million under revolver for acquisitions

New York, Nov. 30 - GrafTech International Ltd. drew $165 million under its revolving credit facility to help fund its acquisitions of Seadrift Coke LP, a producer of petroleum-based needle coke, and C/G Electrodes LLC, a graphite electrode producer, according to a news release.

Other funds for the purchases came from the issuance of 24 million shares of common stock, $86 million in cash and $200 million in non-interest bearing five-year senior subordinated notes.

GrafTech is a Parma, Ohio-based manufacturer and provider of synthetic and natural graphite and carbon based products and technical and research and development services.
