Goodyear gets deadline extension for filing 10-Q from lenders

Pittsburgh, May 27 - The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co. received an extension for filing its form 10-Q for the first quarter with the Securities and Exchange Commission from its bank lenders Thursday.

The company now has until June 30 to file the form.

The extension allows Goodyear to access its credit facilities and obtain letters of credit.

The company says it expects to file the report by mid-June.

Goodyear is an Akron, Ohio-based tire manufacturer.
