Goodyear amends European loan to extend filing deadline for Goodyear Dunlop Tires Europe BV

New York, May 18 - The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co. amended its European credit facility, extending the deadline for Goodyear Dunlop Tires Europe BV to submit audited 2003 financial statements until June 4, according to a company news release.

These financial statements, which have historically been completed by the joint venture after Goodyear's U.S. 10-K filing, were previously required to be delivered by May 19.

Goodyear is an Akron, Ohio, tire company.
