Goodyear amends loans, extending 10-K filing deadline to May 19

By Sara Rosenberg

New York, April 19 - The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co. amended its U.S. and European credit facilities, extending the deadline for filing its 2003 10-K with the Securities and Exchange Commission until May 19.

The filing delay will not affect Goodyear's ability to access its credit facilities or get letters of credit, although it is not expected that the company will need to access its loans before the deadline, according to a company news release.

Goodyear is an Akron, Ohio, tire company.
