Charlotte, N.C., July 15 - Investors led by Atlantic Investment Management, Inc. reported a 5.2% stake in Goodrich Corp. following the purchase of 2.63 million Goodrich shares between May 29 and July 11.

The shares were priced from $43.41 to $64.69 each, according to a schedule 13D filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

Atlantic said it will continue its active discussions with Goodrich's management regarding ways to maximize shareholder value. In addition, the investors may engage in discussions with other parties who might engage in shareholder-value-enhancing activities, the filing stated.

Atlantic and its affiliates beneficially own 6.50 million shares of the Charlotte, N.C.-based company.

Goodrich supplies components, systems and services to the commercial and general aviation airplane markets, as well as to the defense and space markets worldwide.
