Goldman Sachs' Bamford and Arege no longer trust portfolio managers; Clark to retire

Minneapolis, Dec. 2 - Goldman Sachs Trust announced that Dolores Bamford will no longer act as a portfolio manager for the Goldman Sachs Large Cap Value Fund, John Arege will no longer be a portfolio manager for the Goldman Sachs Mid Cap Value Fund, Katinka Domotorffy will no longer manage the balanced fund, and James Clark, global head of portfolio construction and risk management for the fixed income team, will retire from the company.

Effective Dec. 29, the large cap value fund will be managed by Andrew Braun, Sean Gallagher, John Arege and Charles "Brook" Dane.

Also effective Dec. 29, the mid cap value fund will be managed by Andrew Braun, Sean Gallagher, Bamford and Scott Carroll.

Clark's retirement will be effective on Dec. 31.

Also effective Dec. 31, the portfolio managers for the balanced fund will be Don Mulvihill, Monali Vora and Michael Swell.
