New Issue: GS Finance prices $10,000 autocallable notes on Nasdaq-100 Technology Sector

Chicago, Dec. 16 – GS Finance Corp. priced $10,000 of 0% autocallable index-linked notes due Dec. 5, 2022 tied to the Nasdaq-100 Technology Sector index, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The notes are guaranteed by Goldman Sachs Group, Inc.

If the index closes above its initial level on an annual call observation date, the notes will be automatically redeemed at par plus a 9.25% annual call premium. The call observation dates are Nov. 27, 2020 and Nov. 26, 2021.

If the index closes above its initial level, the payout at maturity will be par plus 27.75%.

If the index finishes flat or falls by up to 30%, investors will receive par.

Investors will be fully exposed to any losses in the index should it finish at less than 70% of its initial level.
