New Issue: GS Finance prices $1.45 million autocallables linked to oil

Tacoma, Wash., Oct. 18 – GS Finance Corp. priced $1.45 million of 0% autocallable notes due Oct. 21, 2020 linked to West Texas Intermediate crude oil and Brent crude oil, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The notes will be automatically called at par plus a call premium of 15% per year if each underlier closes at or above its initial price on Jan. 16, 2020, April 16, 2020 or July 16, 2020.

If the notes are not called and the final price of each underlier is greater than or equal to its initial price, the payout at maturity will be par plus 15%.

If the final price of each underlier is greater than or equal to 60% of its initial price but the final price of either underlier is less than its initial price, the payout will be par.

If the final price of either underlier is less than 60% of its initial price, investors will lose 1% for every 1% that the lesser-performing underlier declines from its initial price.

The notes are guaranteed by Goldman Sachs Group, Inc.
