GS Finance intends to price leveraged buffered notes on S&P 500
Chicago, Dec. 28 – GS Finance Corp. plans to price three-year 0% leveraged buffered notes linked to the S&P 500 index, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
The notes are guaranteed by the Goldman Sachs Group, Inc.
If the index return is positive, the payout at maturity will be par plus 2 times the index return, subject to a maximum settlement amount of 134.25% of par. Investors will receive par if the index declines by 20% or less and will lose 1.25% for every 1% that the index declines beyond the 20% buffer.
Goldman Sachs & Co. is the agent.
The Cusip is 40056EQT8.
