Goldman plans five-year leveraged buffered notes linked to S&P 500

Chicago, Nov. 8 – GS Finance Corp. plans to price 0% leveraged buffered notes due Dec. 7, 2023 linked to the S&P 500 index, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
The payout at maturity will be par plus 1.15 to 1.25 times any index gain.
Investors will receive par if the index falls by up to 20% and will lose 1% for each 1% decline beyond 20%.
The notes are guaranteed by Goldman Sachs Group, Inc.
Goldman Sachs & Co. LLC is the underwriter.
The notes will price on Dec. 3.
The Cusip number is 40056EC48.
