By Sarah Lizee

Olympia, Wash., Sept. 26 – GS Finance Corp. plans to price callable monthly range accrual notes due Oct. 3, 2028 linked to the iShares MSCI Emerging Markets ETF, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The notes are guaranteed by Goldman Sachs Group, Inc.

Interest will accrue at 10.65% to 11.15% annualized for each day that the ETF closes at or above the coupon barrier level, 80% of the initial ETF level. Interest will be payable monthly.

The notes are callable at par on any interest payment date beginning on April 3, 2019.

The payout at maturity will be par unless the ETF finishes below the 60% trigger level, in which case investors will be fully exposed to any losses.

Goldman Sachs & Co. is the agent.

The notes will price on Sept. 28 and settle on Oct. 3.

The Cusip number is 40056E2F4.
