Morgantown, W.Va., Sept. 12 – GS Finance Corp. priced $3.14 million of 0% autocallable notes due Sept. 12, 2028 linked to the Motif Capital National Defense 7 ER index, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
The notes are guaranteed by Goldman Sachs Group, Inc.
If the index closes at or above the applicable call level on any annual call observation date, the notes will be automatically called at par plus a call return of 11% per year. The call level will be 102.5% of the initial level for the first call observation date on Aug. 28, 2019 and steps up by 250 basis points each year to a call level of 122.5% of the initial level for the final call observation date on Aug. 30, 2027.
The payout at maturity will be par plus any index gain. If the index falls, the payout will be par.
