GS Finance to price digital notes due 2024 tied to MSCI EM ETF, Stoxx

Olympia, Wash., Aug. 1 – GS Finance Corp. plans to price 0% digital notes due Aug. 9, 2024 linked to the iShares MSCI Emerging Markets ETF and the Euro Stoxx 50 index, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The notes are guaranteed by Goldman Sachs Group, Inc.

If the return of each underlier is at least negative 30%, the payout at maturity will be the greater of the maximum settlement amount of $1,725 per $1,000 of notes and the return of the lesser-performing asset.

Otherwise, investors will lose 1% for every 1% decline of the lesser performing asset from its initial level.

Goldman Sachs & Co. is the underwriter.

The notes will price Aug. 2 and settle on Aug. 9.

The Cusip number is 40055QR38.
