New Issue: GS Finance sells $472,000 four-year digital notes linked to the Dow

Morgantown, W.Va., July 16 – GS Finance Corp. priced $472,000 of 0% digital notes due June 30, 2022 linked to the Dow Jones industrial average, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
The notes are guaranteed by Goldman Sachs Group, Inc.
If the index finishes at or above 85% of its initial level, the payout at maturity will be the threshold settlement amount of $1,245 per $1,000 principal amount.
Otherwise, investors will lose 1% for every 1% decline in the index beyond 15%.
Goldman, Sachs & Co. is the underwriter.
