New Issue: GS Finance sells $571,000 notes linked to iShares MSCI EAFE ETF

Morgantown, W.Va., July 5 – GS Finance Corp. priced $571,000 of 0% notes due June 29, 2023 linked to the iShares MSCI EAFE exchange-traded fund, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The notes are guaranteed by Goldman Sachs Group, Inc.

If the fund return is zero or positive, the payout at maturity will be the greater of the threshold settlement amount of $1,625 per $1,000 principal amount and par plus the fund return.

If the fund return is negative but not less than negative 30%, the payout will be par.

Otherwise, investors will be fully exposed to the fund decline.
