Goldman plans leveraged buffered notes with no cap tied to S&P 500

Chicago, April 10 – GS Finance Corp. plans to price 0% leveraged buffered notes due April 28, 2022 linked to the S&P 500 index, according to a 424B2 filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
The payout at maturity will be par plus 1.15 times to 1.25 times any index gain, with the exact participation rate to be set at pricing.
Investors will receive par if the index falls by up to 15% and will lose 1% for each 1% decline beyond 15%.
Goldman, Sachs & Co. is the agent.
Goldman Sachs Group, Inc. is the guarantor.
The notes will price on April 25 and settle on April 28.
The Cusip number is 40054L5P5.
