Morgantown, W.Va., Feb. 9 – GS Finance Corp. priced $2.48 million of 0% leveraged notes due Feb. 12, 2019 linked to the Euro Stoxx 50 index, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
The notes are guaranteed by Goldman Sachs Group, Inc.
If the index return is positive, the payout at maturity will be par plus double the index gain, with the return capped at 21.6%. Investors will be fully exposed to any index decline.
The initial index level will be the lowest closing level of the index during the observation period from Feb. 7 through May 8.
