New Issue: GS Finance prices $2.62 million callable range accrual notes linked to S&P 500

By Angela McDaniels

Tacoma, Wash., Oct. 3 – GS Finance Corp. priced $2.62 million of callable monthly range accrual notes due Sept. 30, 2031 linked to the S&P 500 index, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The notes are guaranteed by Goldman Sachs Group, Inc.

The interest rate is 7.5% per year multiplied by the proportion of days on which the index closes at or above the barrier level, 70% of the initial index level. Interest is payable monthly.

Beginning in September, 2017, the notes will be callable at par on any interest payment date.
