Goldman plans 30-month leveraged buffered notes tied to MSCI EM fund

Chicago, June 6 – GS Finance Corp. plans to price 0% 30-month leveraged buffered notes linked to the iShares MSCI Emerging Markets exchange-traded fund, according to a 424B2 filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The notes are guaranteed by Goldman Sachs Group, Inc.

The payout at maturity will be par plus 1.5 times any fund gain, up to a maximum settlement amount of $1,420 for each $1,000 principal amount.

Investors will receive par if the fund falls by up to 15% and will lose 1.1765% for every 1% decline beyond 15%.

Goldman Sachs & Co. is the agent.

The Cusip number is 40054KDN3.
