New Issue: GS Finance sells $4.51 million contingent coupon autocallables on Russell 2000, S&P 500

By Wendy Van Sickle

Columbus, Ohio, March 31 – GS Finance Corp. priced $4.51 million of autocallable contingent coupon notes due April 13, 2026 linked to the S&P 500 index and the Russell 2000 index, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The notes are guaranteed by Goldman Sachs Group, Inc.

The notes will pay a contingent quarterly coupon at an annual rate of 6.8% if each index closes at or above its coupon trigger level, 50% of its initial index level, on the determination date for that quarter.

The notes will be called at par plus the contingent coupon if each index closes at or above its initial level on any determination date from March 2017 to December 2025.

The payout at maturity will be par plus the final contingent coupon unless either index finishes below its 50% trigger level, in which case investors will be fully exposed to any losses of the worse performing index.

Goldman, Sachs & Co. is the agent.
