GS Finance plans capped S&P 500 index-linked notes with 3x leverage

Columbus, Ohio, March 18 – GS Finance Corp. plans to price l3- to 15-month 0% leveraged S&P 500 index-linked notes, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The payout at maturity will be par plus triple any gain in the index, up to a maximum return of between 14.7% and 17.1%.

Investors will be exposed to any losses.

Goldman Sachs & Co. is the agent.

The notes are guaranteed by Goldman Sachs Group, Inc.
