Goldman Sachs to price digital notes linked to Russell 2000 index

Tacoma, Wash., Nov. 5 – Goldman Sachs Group, Inc. plans to price 0% digital notes due Nov. 28, 2018 linked to the Russell 2000 index, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
If the index return is greater than or equal to negative 15%, the payout at maturity will be $1,150 per $1,000 principal amount of notes. Otherwise, investors will lose 1% for every 1% that the index declines beyond 15%.
Goldman Sachs & Co. is the underwriter.
The notes will price Nov. 23.
The Cusip number is 38148THR3.
